Betty Wiltshire Goodyear

Betty Wiltshire Goodyear, 84, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, in Treasure Island, Fla. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. Memorials: Charity of choice. Betty was born June 7, 1930, in Orange, Va. She was employed with American Airlines in the 1950s and '60s at Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport. She was a resident of Arlington since 1979. Betty was an avid animal lover and befriended many! She was very social, enjoyed being with people, going to lunch and having fun, and is described by friends as spunky and amazing. Betty was a member of Arlington Woman's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Suburban Club and Bailando Dance Club. Survivors: Daughter, Jill Goodyear Silver and husband, Robert, of Tampa, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
