Betty Lou Newcomb

Betty Lou Newcomb, 79, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Arlington, TX.

Her memorial Service is at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 17, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Betty was born on June 26, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia to Ulyss R. Taylor and Josephine Johnson Taylor. She worked for over 30 years at Lockheed Martin as an administrative assistant and embarked on a second career in the jewelry industry.

Betty loved her family dearly. She loved a good celebration, to debate the political topics of the day and to generally socialize. She took great pride in the decor and upkeep of her home. Her face would light up at the sight of a baby and any and all dogs. She spoiled, cherished and doted on many dogs in her lifetime. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her and her fiesty spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Julia Little.

Survivors: Husband of 53 years, Don Newcomb; brother, Frank Taylor; sister, Shirley Kusan and husband, James; sister-in-law, Suzanne Tanner and husband, Tom; niece, Kelsey Hicks and husband, Derric; nephews, Ken Hanshaw and wife, Jenny, Derek Tanner and wife, Amber, James Kusan, Todd Kusan and Scott Kusan; and multiple grand-nieces and nephews.
