Betty Lou Linn

Betty Lou Linn, 90, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woods Chapel Baptist Church, 2424 California Lane, Arlington. Interment: 2:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Betty was born on October 27, 1926 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Josh Narramore and Louise Honea Narramore. An Arlington resident since 1955, she was a member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church. Betty retired from AISD after 25 years in Food Service. She was known as “Cookie Lady” at Shackelford Junior High. Betty dearly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed helping others and playing dominoes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Edward Linn in 2008; and a daughter, Donna Kay Watkins in 2010. Survivors: Son, Eddie Linn and wife, Wendy; daughter, Cathy Preston and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Brian, Karen, Abbie, Brittney, Jason and Haley; great-grandchildren, Jack, Andy, Kate, Oliver, Owen, Elliott, Nathin and Layne.
