Betty Sue Parker Carter, 83, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 in Arlington, Texas. Services: Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas, 76013. Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis St., Arlington, Tx, 76012. Visitation: Friday, December 29, 2017, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Betty was born to William Eudell and Clara Olive (Earwood) Hubbard in Birmingham, AL on July 19, 1934. She was a devoted believer in Christ and regularly attended Hillcrest Park Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Betty's greatest loves were her love for God, family and her nursing career. Betty worked as an operating room nurse for 7 years and as a nurse at UTA Health Center for 27 years before retiring. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Edward William Parker and Alan Carter; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Parker and a brother, Ted Hubbard. Survivors: sons, Michael “Chip” and wife, Sharon Parker and Craig Parker; four grandchildren, Kelli and husband, Shane Gerald, Michelle Parker and Ruben Rangel, David Parker and Rebekah Parker; two great-grandchildren, Parker Gerald and Ivy Gerald; and countless friends and family members.
