Ms Betty Ann Clark

August 14, 1930 — February 29, 2024

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Betty Ann Noble Clark, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on February 29, 2024, in Arlington, TX at the age of 93. After entering hospice, she was cared for by her daughters, Pamela and Karen and her granddaughter, Jennifer in the home. Betty was never alone and was comforted by other family members as well. Betty Ann was the middle daughter born to William J. Noble and Verena Nadine Graham on August 14,1930 in Kansas City, MO. Betty graduated from Central High School in 1947 and went on to two years of Junior College in Kansas City. She started her career as a bookkeeper and went on to work as a Corporate Controller for 50 years. She won many awards over the years for her professional excellence.

Betty married Carl W. Clark in 1949 in Olathe, Kansas. The couple were blessed with three daughters, Pamela, Karen, and Nancy. Betty was best known for her intense study of the Bible and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. She taught Bible Study Classes for decades. She led worship services for the seniors at Overland Park Towers. Betty was on the board of directors for the Healing Word Ministries. She was a long-time member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). Betty was a devoted prayer warrior and kept precise records of prayer requests and how God answered the prayers.

Betty found pure joy in being a grandmother to her seven grandchildren and her sixteen great-grandchildren. She enjoyed seeing some daily and others on her many FaceTime calls. She loved staying connected to what everyone was doing. A longtime resident of Overland Park, Kansas, Betty moved in 2021 to live with her daughter, Karen, in Arlington, Texas. Pamela and Karen shared the caregiving role for their beloved mother. She had a wonderful life in Texas. She enjoyed mani/pedi spa days, weekly beauty shop trips, watching movies with her grandchildren and participating in many family activities. In August of 2023, Betty took an enjoyable road trip traveling back to Overland Park, Kansas for an eight-day vacation to visit family, friends, and her childhood home.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, William and Nadine Noble; sister, Virginia Sue Markham; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Robert Adams; grandson, Michael Meyer; sons-in-law, Melvin Meyer and Noble (Buster) Faulkenberry.

Betty is survived by brother-in-law, Peter Markham of Windermere, FL; daughters Pamela Meyer (Melvin) and Karen Faulkenberry (Noble), both of Texas and Nancy Browning (John) of Olathe, Kansas; six grandchildren, Matthew Meyer (Brandi) of Arlington, TX, Jason Faulkenberry (Ashley) of China, Jennifer Faulkenberry (Matt Martinez) of Arlington, TX, Jon Browning (Trisha) of Olathe, KS, Megan Booze (Eric) of Olathe, KS, and Amanda Salva (John) of Olathe, KS; sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.
Thank you, Jesus!
