Betty Ann Beiling, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at The Grace Place, 5950 S. Collins St., Arlington. Graveside: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Betty was born on July 31, 1940 in Bryan, Texas to Ervin Horace Combs and Ada Mae Hinkle Combs. Her parents were ministers and had their own church in Arlington. Betty loved the Lord and felt the call to serve the Lord at a young age by teaching herself how to play the piano and organ.
She married the love of her life, Michael Walter Beiling Jr., on June 6, 1958. They were happily married for 65 wonderful years and had 3 children. She dearly loved her family; she loved her kids and grandkids. She loved her sister, nieces and nephews. Betty was a great mom, Nanny, Aunt, and friend. Her family and friends will miss her smile and how much she cared about family and others.
Betty worked as a nurse and enjoyed taking care of her patients. She worked in the Labor and Delivery at Arlington Memorial and as an OB/GYN and Pediatric nurse in Arlington. She loved being a nurse and always had lots of love and a bright, cheery smile for her patients
Betty enjoyed being outside in nature. She enjoyed flowers and loved watching hummingbirds. She loved taking vacations and trips to the lake. The happiest times of her life were just being with her family. Betty loved life.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Combs; mother, Ada Mae Combs; and sister, Audrey Louise Hilton.
Betty is survived by her husband, Michael W. Beiling, Jr.; her son, Michael W. Beiling III and his wife, Cassandra Beiling; daughter, Tammy Zimmerman; son, Brian Beiling and his wife, Melanie Belling; brother, Robert Combs; grandsons, Michael W. Beiling IV and Ethan Beiling; and granddaughters, Rylie Beiling, Kinsley Beiling, and Brynlee Beiling.
