Beth Alade

Beth Alade, 72, passed away on March 3, 2022, in Fort Worth, TX.
Beth Alade was born on September 10, 1949 in Palestine, TX, to Orlean and Lina Belle Leavell.
Beth graduated from Westwood High School in 1968 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, TX. She attended graduate school at Boston University in Massachusetts and later graduated with her a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin University. She started her career as a counselor for at risk youth and went on to work with couples preparing for adoption and individuals with addictive disorders.
She married to Dr. Solomon Lanre Alade and had 2 children, Stephen Alade and Tola Alade Lutz and her family has grown to include one granddaughter.
Beth was best known for her devotion to her family and her devout prayer life.
Beth went on to open a Catholic Book and Gift Shop called Our Lady of Grace.
Beth is survived by her children Steve Alade – son, Tola Alade Lutz (Joe) – daughter; granddaughter Sade Lutz; brothers, John Henry Leavell, Donald Glenn Leavell (Marva), Gordon Gregg Leavell (Miriam), Gerald Leon Leavell, Elliott Kelvin Leavell (Rose) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Orlean and Lina Belle Leavell; her brothers, Wayne Thurman Leavell and Anthony Orlean Leavell; and two sisters Annetta Sharene Himes and Carolyn Leavell Samuel.
The service for Beth Alade will be held on Friday March 11, 2022, at 10 am at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Catholic Church at 1206 Throckmorton St, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
The burial for Beth Alade will be held on Friday March 11, 2022 at 2 pm at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243
Memorial donations can be made in Beth’s name to EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) and/or the Presbyterian Night Shelter.
