Bessie C. Talbot

ARLINGTON -- Bessie Corbin Talbot, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Celebration of life: Will be held at noon Wednesday, May 27, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Bessie was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Hampton, Va., to Robert Elliott and Estelle White Elliott. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary "Mimi" Quarles. Survivors: Daughters, Gloria Taylor and her husband, Fred, Patricia Green and her husband, Edward, and Marsha Strong and her husband, Roderick; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her 102-year-old sister, Rose O'Neil; son-in-law, Michael Quarles; and many other loving family members and friends.
