Beryl Wolfe was called home by God through Jesus Christ on the evening of March 3, 2017 at the age of 85, five days before she and Jack planned on celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, 2020 S. Collins Street, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. before the service. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas.
Memorials: Memorial Donations may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist or SafeHaven of Tarrant County.
Beryl was born in Houston, raised in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1949. She attended the University of Texas. She met Jack in 1947 and they were married in 1952.
She had a loving relationship with the Lord and a great sense of humor. Beryl was a stay at home mom to her three children and was very active in their Christian schooling, sports activities and secular schooling. Beryl was active in the children's, women's and committee programs of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in her 50 plus years of membership. She has enjoyed her last 4 plus years of membership at the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist.
Beryl liked to travel and spent 20 years after retirement in RV travel with the Cedar Creek Lakers RV Club.
Survivors: Husband, Jack; sons, Steven and Don; daughter Terri; grandchildren, Bonnie, Duncan, Summer and Gregory; great-grandchild, Winter; and several nieces and nephews.
