Bernard "Eugene" Orcutt

ARLINGTON -- Bernard "Eugene" Orcutt, 76, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Service: Respecting his wishes, a private family service was held. Gene was a hardworking man who spent his career in all phases of Environmental Services, retiring in the corporate offices of IESI. Upon retirement, he had a passion for tinkering with and collecting classic Ford vehicles. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling. He was an extraordinary father, husband and grandfather "Papa" and a loyal friend to all. Survivors: Gene is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 56 years, Marilyn (nee Perry). He was a loving man and a true patriarch to his children, Stephen Eugene Orcutt (Cindi Uselton) of Sherman, Texas and Lisa (Craig) Troyer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also survived by his adoring grandchildren; Amanda (Kyle) Royal, Tyler Orcutt, Melissa (Hunter) Harris, Brennan and Brittany Troyer; as well as his sisters, Sandra Zook, Judy Austin; and brother, Thomas Orcutt; many loving nieces, nephews and extended family; and his loyal golden retriever, Sam.
