ARLINGTON -- Bernard "Eugene" Orcutt, 76, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
Service: Respecting his wishes, a private family service was held.

Born in Kane, Pennsylvania to Eugene and Marian Orcutt, he raised his family in Erie, Pennsylvania and spent the past 34 years in Texas.
Gene was a hardworking man who spent his career in all phases of Environmental Services, retiring in the corporate offices of IESI. Upon retirement, he had a passion for tinkering with and collecting classic Ford vehicles. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling. He was an extraordinary father, husband and grandfather "Papa" and a loyal friend to all.
Survivors: Gene is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 56 years, Marilyn (nee Perry). He was a loving man and a true patriarch to his children, Stephen Eugene Orcutt (Cindi Uselton) of Sherman, Texas and Lisa (Craig) Troyer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also survived by his adoring grandchildren; Amanda (Kyle) Royal, Tyler Orcutt, Melissa (Hunter) Harris, Brennan and Brittany Troyer; as well as his sisters, Sandra Zook, Judy Austin; and brother, Thomas Orcutt; many loving nieces, nephews and extended family; and his loyal golden retriever, Sam.
