Benjamin Jeffrey Dalton, age 59, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home in Arlington, Texas. Jeff was born on November 11, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Benjamin and Molly Dalton. Jeff graduated from Arlington High School in 1980 and was honored as a Distinguished Alumni. He graduated from Princeton University in 1984 with a degree in Geriatric Psychology and was a proud Tigertone. Jeff produced a cable television show called "Elderly Issues" and provided support for local elderly patients in medical care for long-distance families. Jeff enjoyed traveling, setting up Camp "La Mona Rosa" at the Kerrville Music Festival, saving and fostering lost dogs and cats, watching football, deep conversations, roaring fires, and taking care of "his Kathy". He was Uncle Jeff to a plethora of children among family and friends who delighted in his antics, wild adventures, firework displays, and his proud presence at all of their activities. Jeff was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Kathy Traylor Dalton, and his father, Benjamin Dalton. Survivors include his mother, Molly Dalton of Arlington, one sister, Dinah and husband Chris Menger of Arlington, brothers-and-sister-in-law, Roy and Nita Beth Traylor, Jack Traylor of Naples; cousins Timothy and Bryan Crusius; seven nieces and nephews, Claire Gierber and husband Tyler, Samuel Menger and wife Danielle, Anna Menger and fiance Parker, Jan Ragland and husband Alan, Jyl Wood and husband Bryan, Lynn Burgess and husband Randy, and Casey Traylor and wife Rae Lynn; and many beloved great nieces and nephews. A memorial service, presided by Pastor Charles Wade, will be held on Saturday June 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the I.M. Terrell Academy located at 1900 IM Terrell Way, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, followed by reception in the foyer. Jeff's ashes will be buried alongside his wife at the Springhill Cemetery in Naples, Texas.
