Benjamin was the fifth of ten children born to his loving parents, Mary Frances (Dulock) Doskocil and Benjamin Louis Doskocil, Sr. in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth in 1983 and went on to pursue a life filled with learning, innovating, and teaching the hands-on knowledge of his construction trade. His hard work and problem solving skills were sought after and appreciated by his many friends and family members throughout his life. In his leisure time Ben enjoyed organizing horseshoe tournaments, cooking, and joining in the fun of the many family gatherings.
The joy of Ben’s life was raising his three children, Tara, Alexandra, and Joshua. Teaching them a strong work ethic, independence, and love of God is the true legacy of his heartfelt spirit. Whether he was building a two-story fort, cooking beef stroganoff or watching movies with them, he was dedicated to giving them a strong foundation. He found fulfillment in serving others, especially his family. Prayers for his family and his caring spirit grew with the addition of his grandchildren.
Ben is survived by his loving children, Tara (Doskocil) Bautista and her husband Blake, Alexandra Doskocil, and Joshua Doskocil; his grandchildren Cage and Bradley; his parents Benjamin and Mary Frances Doskocil; and his nine siblings Teresa, Cynthia, Melissa, Debbie, Karen, Edward, Doug, Angela, Jason, and their spouses; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ben will be sincerely missed and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
