She was a 1975 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington. Becky married Bill McKnight in 1975 in Arlington and had two children, William Kyle McKnight and LeighAnn McKnight Yeary. She used her local business as an avenue to become involved in groups such as the Rotary, BNI, and Chamber of Commerce. Throughout her life, she played the role of daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and loving mother-in-law to her son-in-law, Toby Yeary, whom she loved as her own. She was predeceased by her parents Dardanella and Harvey Owens, and her son, William Kyle McKnight. She leaves behind her husband, Bill McKnight, daughter and son-in-law LeighAnn and Toby Yeary, and her grandchildren Sembree and Will Yeary. She also leaves behind her brother James Owens and wife Gail, niece Jennifer Kasick and husband Mike and their children Jacob and Josh, and nephew Paul Owens and wife Tara and their children Jameson and Madeleine. She touched everyone she knew through her influence of generosity, kind-heartedness, and strong faith in Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite organizations, Why Not Bless and Allies in Youth Development. Why Not Bless benefits single mothers in need of cars and assists in other necessities for their families and Allies in Youth Development is a local charity sponsoring children in the school district and across the globe in their education and growth.
