Becky Clapp Wetsel

Betty (Becky) Clapp Wetsel, 81, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Becky was born on November 9, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Milton Clapp and Macie McReynolds Clapp. She moved to the Metroplex in the late 60’s, graduating from Texas Christian University. Becky loved children and worked as an elementary school teacher. She was a very generous and loving individual.

Becky loved to play the slot machines and enjoyed going to Winstar and Las Vegas. She enjoyed playing golf at Shady Valley Country Club. Becky was an avid shopper and enjoyed playing bridge. Her favorite colors were blue and pink.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Macie Clapp.

Survivors: Sons, Scott Wetsel and Chris Wetsel; Clay Wetsel; grandchildren, Carson and Karaliegh; and numerous other family members and friends.
