Becky Barrera

Becky Barrera, 53, passed away on August 19, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Becky was born on December 31, 1967 in Santa Barbara, Ca. to Bobby Don and Elizabeth Breland. The Breland family moved to Arlington, Texas in 1969. She graduated from UTA with a Bachelor of English and Bachelor of Communication degree. She married Abraham Barrera on September 2, 2005. Becky loved drawing, writing, gardening and cooking. She cherished her pets. Becky was deeply passionate about her faith: and the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Breland; and grandparents, Elizabeth Grayeske, Frank Grayeske, Robert Kent and Grady Breland. Survivors: Beloved husband, Abraham Barrera; daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Breland; mother, Elizabeth Breland; stepdaughters, Lisa Polk and Sara Barrera; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
