Beatrice S. Gerhardt-Sherwood, passed away on the eve of June 25, 2022 in Arlington, Texas.

Bea was born in Coleman, Texas on October 9, 1941 to the late Raymond E. Sendejas of San Angelo, Texas and the late Lucy Villarreal Lopez of Lubbock, Texas.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 16 years James D. Sherwood of Arlington, Texas, and her 4 surviving children and their families, Richard Bustillos of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa Gerhardt of Arlington, Texas, Michelle Foster of Oklahoma, and Jessica Malacara of Colorado.

Bea is survived by sons-in law Michael Foster of Oklahoma, Jimmi Malacara of Colorado, and daughter in-law Debra Bustillos of Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of 19 loving Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild.

Bea is survived by five siblings, Dolores Favila of California, Marlene Keith of Arlington Texas, Charles Lopez and Patricia Lopez of Frisco Texas and Linda Saiz of Lubbock Texas. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved late husband Mike Gerhardt of Colorado, and her oldest son Tandy Bustillos Jr of Lubbock, Texas, and brother Raymond E. Sendejas Jr of San Angelo, Texas.

This magnificent woman had a loving and kind spirit and a remarkable healing touch. She was a mighty prayer warrior with gentle ways and a bubbly personality. She had a zest for life and a flair for fashion and she could plan and prepare some delicious meals. She will be dearly missed by all those she loved and who loved her. She dearly loved her family and friends, but above all she loved Jesus.

Bea is celebrating her life with Jesus now!!!
