Barbara Lee Andersen

September 13, 1954 — March 4, 2018

Barbara ‘Barb' Lee (Buck) Andersen, of Arlington, Texas, born on September 13, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Bonnie Lee Buck and the late Mitchell Bryan Buck Sr., passed away, while surrounded by her family, at age 63 on March 4, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. Services: Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Friday, March 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas, 76013. A graveside service will take place, officiated by Ron Branstetter, on Saturday, March 10 at 11a.m. / Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas, 76012. Memorials: Those who wish may donate in Barbara's name to The American Diabetes Association. She graduated from Arlington High School and was a Teacher's Assistant at Arlington Independent School District until retiring in 2017. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she loved a good laugh. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church as her mother and father were. Barb's giant smile and booming laugh will be missed by all that knew her. Although we are selfishly sad she is gone, we will rest easy knowing that she has been reunited with her loving mother and father. She is surely in Granny's arms now, which is a wonderful place to be. Survivors: Barbara is survived by her son, Cliff Mead; daughter, Randi Andersen; brothers, Mitchell Bryan Buck Jr. and Rolfe Holkesvik; sister, Paula Turner; one niece, six nephews and her grandchildren, Avery Hubbard and Mitchell Mead.
