Barbara Diane Demoulin-Wojcik

August 16, 1943 — February 23, 2024

Barbara Diane DeMoulin-Wojcik came into the world August 16th,1943 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was one of eight children, six brothers and one sister, her best friend. She has numerous nieces, nephews, stepchildren and Godchildren. Barbara was a person of strong faith around which her life was centered. She was a welcoming, happy and loving person with special attention to family, remembering their birthdays and other special occasions, always giving to those around her freely with her unforgettable cute smile.

Barbara came to Dallas in 1963 as a flight attendant for Braniff International until their bankruptcy in the early 80’s. During that time she flew many special assignments including charter flights for New Orleans Saints and later for the Dallas Cowboys and flying troops headed to Vietnam and back home. She had a passion for photography, earned the Degree of Master of Photography and was part owner of Giddings Studio in Fort Worth. Barbara and Ray DeMoulin worked at Foveon in Silicon Valley developing digital photography technology. She always volunteered for and served on committees for organizations that she joined.

Barbara’s strongest passion was God followed by family, friends, cooking, entertaining and playing golf. She was an excellent cook and a good golfer. She would be extremely happy and proud with a birdie or a par on a difficult hole. She was a member at Mira Vista, then Shady Valley and played as a guest at many other courses in guest events. We traveled to many states to play. Our Honeymoon trip was playing Pebble Beach for four days staying at the Lodge in their deluxe suite overlooking the 18th green. She and I enjoyed driving trips. With the help of AAA books, my personal tour guide and audio books the trips went quickly and were enjoyed by us both.

Barbara is survived by all her siblings, stepchildren and husband. With Barbara’s passing she has taken a piece of all of us with her. By her example she also left a piece of her with us. That beautiful, always present, sincere smile, her conduct, her class, and a little bit of swagger attracted many lifelong friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. If you loved and admired her go forth and be her, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
