Barbara Ann Whisenhunt, 60, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Burleson, Texas. Visitation with friends and family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Barbara was born on October 19, 1958 in Davenport, Iowa to Jack and Shirley (Atchison) Appleby. Barbara worked as a caretaker at area nursing homes. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Whisenhunt in 2009, a sister, Diane Spruill and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Whisenhunt. She is survived by one son, Gerald Whisenhunt II; one daughter, Theresa Whisenhunt-Brown and husband, Cody; one brother, Jackie Appleby and wife, Beverly; two sisters, Debbie Linn and husband, Rick, and Bonnie Smith and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Gerald Whisenhunt III, Amberly Whisenhunt, Cassidy Whisenhunt, Ashley Whisenhunt, Evan Whisenhunt, Jakob Whisenhunt; and step-grandchildren, Jadyn Brown and Justin Brown.
