Barbara Ann Hermann Faber

March 12, 1935 — June 29, 2024

Barbara Ann Hermann (Barb) Faber, cherished Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and wonderful person, passed away peacefully on June 29th 2024 following visits from her family.

Barbara was born March 2, 1934 in Louisville Kentucky and met Charles Faber when he was stationed in Fort Knox, KY. She and Chuck raised a family that has grown to 18. The family moved to Arlington from South Bend, Indiana in 1976 and has been an integral part of the Arlington community and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for many decades.

Barb was well known for
• Her love of Cooking and collecting cookbooks
• Shopping, oh how she loved to shop, especially for her Grandkids
• Love of Traveling with her husband of 65 years

She has always been known for her kindness, great sense of humor and generosity. In her later years as her health began to decline and she started to lose her facilities, she continued to have the sweetest disposition of anyone in her extended care facility and all her caregivers just adored her. She will be missed by family but we take solace that she will be with Chuck and the many who have predeceased her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Glen Hermann. She is survived by her son, Robert Charles Faber and wife Peggy, daughter Karen Nicole Humphries and husband Clay Humphries, son Charles Lewis Faber and wife Patti, grandchildren, Ryan Humphries, Greg Humphries, Sarah Humphries-Carradine, Husband Ernest Jr. and child Micah, Maggie Faber and husband Matt, Jenny Faber Lopez and Husband Jerry, and Robbie Faber, Arwen and McKennah Buckner.
