The world has lost one of its most beautiful, sweetest and kindest souls, Barbara Ann Boggs. She passed away peacefully on the morning of December 29, 2020 at the age of 73 in her home with the love of her life by her side. She was born September 9, 1947 to Carlois and Carl Robertson of Alton, Illinois. Barbara was preceded in death by her son Brian Allen Boggs who lost his battle to cancer in 1975 at the age of 4 years old. She is survived by Roger Allen Boggs, husband of 53 years, daughter Tammy Marie Tinsley of Ft. Worth, son Jeffery Michael Boggs of New Braunfels; grandchildren Cory Tinsley, Brittany Tinsley, Kristen Rosa and Katelyn Espinosa; great grandchildren Tristan and Kimberly Tinsley, Kalem Tinsley, Karsyn Comer, Kai'ia Espinosa and Hendrix Rosa. Barbara is also survived by her brother Mike Robertson of Arlington, Texas and sister Mary Robertson of Ft. Worth along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved and adored her.
Barbara was a faithful wife, homemaker, avid dieter, and professional conversationalist. There was never a conversation with her that wasn't interesting, and you never left one without at least one good laugh! Her smile and joyous spirit were contagious; she loved and cared deeply for her friends and family. There were many of her co-workers that looked to her as a mother figure and she will be greatly missed by all. Barbara and her husband, Roger Boggs, were inseparable. They shared a love and deep bond that most could only hope for. Over the past 53 years, they were always by each other's side. They did everything and went everywhere together; He was her heart, and she was his everything. She will forever be remembered and never forgotten, her laughter, her smile, her kindness, her friendship, her purple hair, and most of all her love.
