Arnold Wade Hiebert

Arnold Wade Hiebert was born April 7, 1962, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Kathleen “Kay” and Deryl Hiebert. He was their third child, the first boy. The family moved to Arlington in December 1966. Arnold is preceded in death by his father, Deryl, and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his siblings…the older sisters, Rhoda Merritt (spouse, Anthony) who live in Crowley, Texas; and Linda Baker (spouse, Thomas) who live in Arlington, Texas; and a younger brother, Edwin Hiebert (spouse, Gerlie) also of Arlington. He has two nieces (Rose Adams (spouse, Adrian) and Chloe Hiebert; and three nephews, Mark Merritt (spouse, Angela), Lee Baker, and Michael Baker. Also, great nieces, Amaya Adams, Adrianna Adams, and Hannah Burr; and great-nephew, Bryson Merritt. Arnold accepted Jesus as his Savior as a teenager and participated in many activities at Fielder Road Church to include ski trips, Single Heart group dinner theater performances, and choir Christmas programs. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1980. Arnold enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and skiing-both water and snow. He worked in the construction field for the majority of his life. Arnold died on Friday, January 27, 2017.
