Anthony Wayne Rhodes

Tony Rhodes (60) passed away on May 22nd at 7:25 a.m. as the result of an automobile accident. He was the widower of Joan Rhodes. They shared 30 years of marriage together. Born in Lexington, TN, he was the son of Katherine Greeley (Rhodes) and Howard Blankenship. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1977. He spent his career in trucking logistics. He will be remembered for his desire to help anyone and everyone, his sense of humor, his work ethic, and how much he loved his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Amanda Ward and husband, Ricky Ward, and Ashley Rhodes; grandchildren, Caleb Ward and Claire Ward; mother, Katherine Greeley; siblings, Bill Dulceak, Debbie Cortino, Kim Shea, Amy Aaron, Glen Blankenship, Ronald Blankenship; and numerous other family members and friends. The visitation and rosary will be held on May 30th from 6-8 pm at Wade Funeral Home (4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). The Funeral Mass will be held on May 31st at 10:30 am at St.Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd, Arlington, TX 76016) with interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
