Anna Teresa Laughlin

Anna Teresa Laughlin, 61, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29, at First Baptist Church, 301 S. Center St., Arlington. The service will be livestreamed at: https://livestream.com/fbcarlington/laughlin-memorial . Memorials: Memorials may be made to the PE Department at Remynse Elementary School in her honor. Teresa was born on October 10, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Thomas Timothy Ballard and Anna Marie Bailey Ballard. She was raised in Arlington and graduated in 1978 from Lamar High School. Teresa resided in Odessa for 15 years before returning to Arlington. She was a public school PE teacher for 35 years. Teresa taught at Remynse Elementary in Arlington for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Arlington. Teresa dearly loved her children, family, and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Teresa was preceded in death by her father; and brother, Michael Ballard. Survivors: Husband of 40 years, Reny Laughlin; daughter, Renea Tolson and husband, Brad; son, Garren Laughlin and wife, Tori; mother, Anna Marie Zeigler; grandchildren, Taylan, Levi and Logan.
