Anna "Jean" Wilkinson

ARLINGTON -- Anna Jean Wilkinson lovingly touched many lives before her death Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the age of 85. Funeral: 4 p.m. Sunday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 9 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane A. She was born in Dallas on April 16, 1929. As a young woman, Jean sang on the radio with a quartet and with the choir at Beckley Wynnewood Baptist Church in Dallas. She retired from Sears as manager of women's ready-to-wear in the South Oak Cliff store. In recent years she attended Trinity United Methodist Church with her husband. Survivors: Her husband, Dick Wilkinson; son, James R. Barnes III and wife, Connie; daughter, Debra Tucker and husband, Bob; stepsons, Rick and Greg Wilkinson and their wives, Lynnette and Denice; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
