ARLINGTON -- Ann E. Manser, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, after a brief illness.
Catholic Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, followed by rosary service at 7 p.m.
Ann was born June 30, 1938, to G. Elsie and Lawrence P. Roettger in Pontiac, Mich. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in 1958 and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse. Ann and her family moved to Texas in 1978, where she enjoyed the warm weather and big blue skies. Ann was married to her loving husband, James, for 47 years. They enjoyed traveling, being active in their church, and raising their three children. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survivors: Beloved husband, James J. Manser of Arlington; son, James Jr. (Marites); daughters, Christine (Edward Marohn) and Elizabeth (David Ronsky); her brother, James Roettger (Karen); and sister, Mary Cottrell (Wesley); grandchildren, Mahalea, Cheryserr, Juliann, Jamie, Tristan, Meaghan, Lauren, Emily and Ava; great-grandson, Aaron; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
