Angie Lee Tarrance, 91, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, in Arlington.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Mayfield Road Baptist Church, 1701 E. Mayfield Road, Arlington, with the Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to Mayfield Road Baptist Church.
Angie was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Comanche to James Malford Brewer and Mattie Elizabeth Alexander Brewer. A resident of Arlington since 1941, she was a member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church. Angie was a longtime successful Mary Kay consultant. She loved being a Grandfriend at Corey Elementary, fundraising for Arlington Memorial Hospital and was active with Arlington Little League. She enjoyed sewing, cooking (her specialty was bread pudding) and her pet squirrels.
Angie was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Merrill Lee Davis, on Nov. 21, 1971; and also her second husband and their stepfather, Orvil Tarrance, on June 2, 2006.
Survivors: Son, Bob R. Davis of Bullard; daughter, Gayle Sullivan of Salado; brothers, Bo Brewer of Corsicana, Jerrell Brewer of Arlington and S.M. Brewer of Arlington; sister, Geneva Speed of Corsicana; grandchildren, Debra Hines, Bryan Davis, Ashley Davis, Amber Spencer and Jared Trustman; and great-grandchildren, Roni Hines, Taylor Hines, Anderson Davis, Jack Davis, Becks Graysen Davis, Ayden Skelton and Ryan Elizabeth Spencer.
