Andre Matthew Crabbe, age 40, was born to James and Sheila Crabbe on August 27th, 1975. He graduated in 1993 from Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, TX.
After college he became part of the class on '97 at Texas A&M . While at A&M he was a member of Company C-2 in the Corps of Cadets, a Ross Volunteer and a member of the Wrecking Crew for the Texas Aggie football team. He also earned his Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design. In 2015 he graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington earning a Master's in Architecture.
After graduation he moved to the DFW area where he worked at CM Architecture in various roles or 13 years. In 2014 he accepted a position at Huckabee and Associates as a Project Coordinator.
Shortly after moving to the area he started attending Lake Arlington Baptist Church. He led praise teams, mentored singers and musicians, lead worship with his keyboard and amazing voice. He worked with youth, college, singles and adult praise teams.
It was at LABC where he met Robin Higgins who would become his wife on October 2006. Their family was made complete by the addition of their daughter, Alexis, in November 2009.
Andre prepared his whole life to meet Jesus, his Lord and Savior. On Monday, July 12 2016 his deeply running faith became realized. Andre impacted a great number of people and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Robin; daughter, Alexis Nicole; mother, Sheila Crabbe; sister, Tracy Ford; sister, Melissa Crabbe; nieces, Jasmine, Sophia and Ciera; and nephew, Xavier; many aunts uncles and cousins; as well as scores of extended family and friends, who will all miss him greatly.
