Amy Jean Bush

Amy Jean Bush, 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her home in Arlington. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Special Olympics. Amy was born May 18, 1959 to Chandler and Jean Bush. She grew up in Richardson and Arlington, participating in Special Olympics throughout much of her life, and was very proud of her many gold medals. After graduating from high school, Amy began working in cafeteria service, a career that lasted over 20 years. She then worked at Albertson's where she loved helping her customers, always sharing a friendly smile. Amy loved cutting magazines, creating latch hook rugs, watching tv, singing, and dancing. Her infectious smile, pure heart, and sweet spirit brightened the lives of all who met her. Survivors: Sister, Cathy Batlle and husband, Daniel; brother, Tim and wife, Lisa; niece Caitlin; nephew, Logan and wife, Leeta; nephew, Aaron and wife, Abby; two great-nieces, Bradie and Saylor; and her very special caretaker, Sheri.
