April 5, 1946 — February 3, 2018

Alma Hood, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on February 3, 2018. Memorial Visitation: 10:00-12:00 noon Friday, February 16, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Alma was born in Golden, Texas on April 5, 1946. She was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many. Survivors: Alma is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Hood, her daughter Katy Staley and husband Dale of Arlington, her daughter Julia Hood Richardson and husband David of Mexia, five grandchildren, her mother, Odessa Shipes and five loving brothers and sisters and their families.
