ARLINGTON -- Alice Riviere Moore, 81, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, in Arlington.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: Johnson Station Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Alice was born on Oct. 17, 1934, in Tyler to Frank Riviere and Dollie Davis Riviere. She was a member of a pioneer Texas and Arlington family and descendant of Paul Revere and Jefferson Davis. She graduated from Tyler Junior College where she was a member of the Apache Belles and a lady in waiting in the Tyler Rose Festival. Alice married Kenneth W. Moore on Oct. 11, 1953. She was a longtime employee of the Arlington Independent School District where she served as school secretary at South Davis Elementary and Miller Elementary for over 34 years.
Survivors: Husband of 62 years, Ken W. Moore; son, David W. Moore and wife, Janet; daughters, Becky White and husband, Rick, and Mollie Moore; sister, Carolyne Grosserode and husband, Jim; grandchildren, April, Polly, Adam, Wes, Nic, Abby and Caitlyn; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
