Alan Dwayne Rodda, 74, of Arlington passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Alan was born August 31, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa, to parents Leo and Gloria Rodda. He graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1964 with a focus in commercial art. He met his wife, Barbara, in high school and they were married in 1964. Alan had a very successful career in the sales/marketing business in which he had the opportunity to work for companies such as Haggen-Dazs Ice Cream, Tropicana Orange Juice, and Morton Salt. Anyone who knew Alan knew he had a passion for cars, a need for speed, and an extreme love for family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Rodda; his daughter Kelly Cinquepalmi (husband Nick Cinquepalmi), son Jason Rodda (wife Kelli Rodda), and his four grandchildren; Karsen Cinquepalmi, Reese Rodda (wife Baylee Rodda), Madison Cinquepalmi, and Molly Rodda. A Memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Arlington, TX on July 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital to honor Alan's memory.
