Peacefully and painlessly surrounded by family, Adeeb “Abu Nabeel” Geries Farah passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 77. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showcased his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile and unwavering positivity.
Adeeb was born on March 6, 1947 in the biblical city of Nazareth, Palestine, where he was raised alongside his five brothers, before embarking on a journey to America in 1968. It was there that he encountered the love of his life, Ivette, with whom he recently celebrated a remarkable 50 years of marriage. Together, they were blessed with three children, Nabeel, Joseph, and Heather and six grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy into Adeeb’s life.
Finding happiness in life’s simplest pleasures, Adeeb was a hard worker who cherished moments spent outdoors, basking in the warmth of the sunshine and surrounded by his beloved family. His infectious personality and genuine zest for life endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Adeeb’s love knew no bounds. He held his family, brothers, cousins, and friends dear to his heart, touching countless lives with his boundless affection. His legacy of love and positivity will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
Though he may no longer be with us in body, Adeeb’s spirit will live on through the cherished memories he leaves behind. His family pledges to honor his legacy by embracing life to the fullest and holding steadfast to his enduring mantra: “Don’t worry, Be happy.”
Adeeb will be deeply missed, but his love and light will forever illuminate the lives of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
Adeeb is survived by his wife: Ivette Farah, His Children: Nabeel, Joseph and wife, Heather Marie, and Heather Farah; His Grandchildren: Natalie, Christian, Matthew, Madison, Andrew, and Katelyn Farah; His brothers: Elias, George, Ghazi, Anees Farah; As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members.
Adeeb was preceded in death by his father, Ayoub Geries, his mother, Rose Kawar, and his brother, Samir Farah, whose memories he cherished deeply.
