Aaron Scott Hanysak, 43 beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, mentor, and friend passed from this life into the loving hands of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 9,2021.
Aaron was born in Arlington, Texas on December 18, 1977 to parents Denny Paul Hanysak and Jan Johnson Hanysak, three minutes older than his identical twin, Kyle. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1997. Aaron was a life-long resident of Arlington.
Aaron had an unbreakable spirit and servant heart. His strength and tenacity were unmatched. His perseverance and courage were admired by all who knew him. Despite challenges he faced because of cerebral palsy, he gave his life to others and leaves behind a legacy of generosity, love, and kindness. He made a difference in the lives of others every day with his grace, gentle voice, and contagious smile.
Aaron attended St. Barnabas United Methodist Church of Arlington, where he selflessly served as a youth group mentor, also assisting each summer with vacation bible school. He also volunteered for many years at Arlington High School and received the Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership Award in January of 2016. In addition, because of his unselfish volunteerism, the city of Arlington proclaimed September 2, 2018 "Aaron Hanysak Day".
Aaron made the broken look beautiful. He gave so much to others and left a lasting legacy on the lives of everyone he touched. He lived with the universe on his shoulders, and made it look like a pair of wings.
Aaron was truly one-of-a-kind, and while his light has gone out on Earth, we know he is shining his love down on us from heaven, and he will continue to live on forever in our hearts, and through our actions.
Aaron was predeceased by his mother, Jan Hanysak.
Survivors: Father Denny Hanysak; his brother Bryan (wife Kimberly) and Kyle Hanysak, grandparents Don and Ruth Johnson, Aunt Laurie (Johnson) Allison (husband Mike), his nephews Luke and Heath Hanysak and an abundance of cousins.
Family graveside services are planned for March 20,2021. Arrangements are pending for Aaron's Celebration of Life due to the pandemic.
