ARLINGTON -- William Alan Wing, 75, beloved husband, cherished father and grandfather, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. Despite a long battle with cancer, Bill remained a faithful servant of God. Funeral: Noon Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. Interment: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, prior to the service. Bill was born March 5, 1937, in St. Ansgar, Iowa, to Lillie and Galen Wing. Following high school, Bill proudly served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. Bill spent many of his early adult years in Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois, until making his home in Arlington in 1976. With a successful career in the metals industry that spanned over five decades, Bill was a devoted professional who had a unique passion for his work and a strong dedication to his customers. He had a love for family, his church, golf, and of course, the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and Galen Wing; and his brother, Jimmie Wing. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Claudia; sister, Marion Witt; sister, Alice Munson; daughter, Vicki Burton (Mark); son, Michael Wing; daughter, Christi Kelley; daughter, Lisa Littlejohn; daughter, Stephanie Najar (Edgar); daughter, Suzanne Reiners (Terry); daughter, Sondra Payne (Jeffrey); son, Jeremy Wing (Vanessa); granddaughters, Hannah Dalrymple, Laura Dalrymple, Macy Littlejohn and Annika Payne; grandson, Anderson Payne; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Dalrymple; and goddaughter, Danielle Sanders.
