Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Wendy was born on December 15, 1941 in Newton Highland, Massachusetts to John Phillip Pancoast and Ellen Seamans Pancoast.
Wendy volunteered at Advent Lutheran Church, Arlington Memorial Hospital and Hill Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Michael Shipe; and brother, John Phillip Pancoast.
Survivors: Husband, William K. “Bill” Shipe; son, Kevin Matthew Shipe; sisters, Holly Ellen Valente and Lindsay Pancoast; twin grandsons, Brandon Walker Shipe and William Conner Shipe; 5 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
