ARLINGTON -- Wallace Ray Busbee, beloved husband, dad, granddad and friend entered into heaven December 25, 2013. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4201 Little Road, Arlington. Interment: Hawkins Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Tate Springs Baptist Church or Tender Heart Hospice. Wallace was the only child of Ralph and Fannie Mae Barclay Busbee. He was born April 10, 1929 as the fourth generation to live in the Tate Springs Community. After graduation from Handley High School, he served in the National Guard for 8 years. Wallace was a master brick and stone mason and owner of Busbee Masonry Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wallace was preceded in death by sons, Billy, Ray, and Barry Busbee. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, DeLaurice Porter Busbee; son, Randall of Albuquerque; daughter, Deanna Harwig (Ray) of Olathe, Kansas; grandchildren, Shawna Busbee and Anthony "A.J." Harwig; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
