Tommie Jo "TJ" Noriega

It saddens our family to announce the passing of Tommie Jo “TJ” Noriega, on January 14, 2023.

TJ was born in Smackover, Arkansas on August 8, 1961. She moved to Texas in the early 80’s and raised her 2 daughters in Grand Prairie.

TJ worked at Mitchell International for 25 years. Her colleagues knew her as a bubbly sweet lady, who loved her job.

TJ loved her family, but as most grandmothers would agree there was no love greater than that of being a MiMi. She loved to live a life full of laughs and silly moments. She was a devoted friend, sister, mother and grandmother.

She will also always be remembered for “ringing the bell” and shouting GO COWBOYS every time her favorite team scored.

TJ is survived by her daughter, Marcie; grandchildren, Preston, Brayden, Zoe and Maddie; sisters, Candy and Mickey; niece, Heather.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gereldine; father, Charlie Jo; brother, Chuck; and daughter, Jessica.

You are invited to a memorial in her honor: Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013.

In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to the SPCA in honor of TJ and her love for her fur babies.
