Thomas Alex Emms Jr., 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Arlington.

Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Tom was born on July 6, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Thomas A. Emms Sr. and Maxine Veltman Emms. He was raised in Arlington and attended First United Methodist Church. Tom graduated from Arlington High School in 1977. He played college football and graduated from Austin College in Sherman in 1981.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Liz Robinson in 2013.

Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Lorell Watson Emms; daughter, Devanie Emms Galyen and husband, Carl; sons, Nathan K. Emms and wife, Misty, and Tristan C. Emms and wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Ayden, Brinley, Adalynn, Rhea and Benjamin Thomas; aunt, Linda Bledsoe and husband, Bob; brother-in-law, Larry Robinson; cousins, Missy Bledsoe, Alison B. Lyons and husband, John, Chip Emms and wife, Hillery, Camilla Simpson and husband, Derek and Laura Nettleton.
