ARLINGTON -- Thelma J. Patterson, 90, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, in Arlington. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lane A of Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Thelma was born May 18, 1924, in Robert Lee to Gennie and Frank Roane. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Landon and Troy Roane. Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Elmer J. Patterson; sons, Jerry Patterson and Tommy Patterson and wife, Staci; sisters, Mary Searle and Silva Ward; grandchildren, Jeff McColley and wife, Brittany, and Sara Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Barrett McColley.
