  1. CandleImageVince was the best dad a girl could ask for. He worked and fought so hard for us. He is our hero and always will be.

  2. Vince was the top step of our 4 cousin block. I always appreciated his gentle spirit. He is missed but I am glad he is no longer in pain. My prayers for Leticia and family.❤️

  3. CandleImageTed was a wonderful colleague, and friend!
His infectious personality will be severely missed and the hallways of JPS won’t be the same without him.

  4. Ted was a wonderful and caring man. He made us laugh and he never met a stranger.
May God comfort his family and give them peace.

  5. CandleImageTed, you will be missed my brother. I will always express gratitude for you and your mom inviting a young broke kid from Wichita to your home for Thanksgiving when school shut down and I had no place to go. I will always cherish the many times we reminisced about all of the hip hop from back in the day and those intense sports debates. Although the season of our friendship has ended the fond memories of you will endure for the rest of my life. Rest in peace my good brother.

    • He loved chatting it up about hip hop and sports! And he would search it up and show you too! Lol

  6. CandleImageTed, I will always remember your consistent authenticity to always unapologetically being you! You never let bad days or times change how you approached the moment or the day. You will be sorely missed, and I will forever cherish your friendship! Gods speed my brother!

  7. CandleImageTo the family of Ted Hammond my prayers are with you. I met Ted at Crayton Middle School where his mom was my six grade teacher. We left Crayton and headed to A. C. Flora graduating 1982. I didn’t see Ted after high school but occasionally ran into Mrs. Hammond at the PX and always her about her Ted and just smiled and said Ted is doing well. Ted was a very quiet and smart young man. Ted you are with your parents now. Rest In Peace classmate.

  8. CandleImageTo the family of Ted Hammond, it is our prayer that God comforts you in the time of your lost. We offer our sincere sympathy during this time. We pray God’s strength for the family. {Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaish 41:10} From the Chief Information Officer & Leadership Team: JPS IT Department.

  9. We shared a lot as ‘work neighbors’ and roaming the halls of JPS together over the years.. Our love of sports, movies, our east coast roots, and so much more… our endless discussions, debates, highs and lows.. I knew I could always count on you, and I trust you knew the same of me… Thanks for the memories and the friendship.. I’m gonna miss you, brother..

  10. I served with Vince, C Company, 115 Medical Support Battalion, Fort Hood, Tx. We had a great friendship; we lived in the barracks, went to the gym, ordered pizza and start all over. Everyone should a have a Vince in their lives. My deepest condolences to his own Army of children and beloved family. To my friend, I stand and salute you.

  12. CandleImageMy condolences to Ted family. Ted and I went to Middle and High School together. We both are class of 1982. His mom was one of my Teachers nice and sweet. Ted was quite kind and respectful. He will be miss now he is in the Lord arms with his dad and mom. Rest in Heavenly peace Ted you work done hear is done now you in heaven got your reward.

  13. CandleImageMy heartfelt condolences to the family. I’ve been at a loss for words this week, trying to find the right way to describe Ted, but there are simply not enough words to capture who he was. Ted was incredibly compassionate, one of the brightest people I’ve ever known, and his sense of humor was truly unmatched. Though he would never call himself a role model, he undoubtedly provided me with a blueprint for what to aspire to. The world will be a lesser place without him.

  14. CandleImageThank you for allowing me to share your mom. When you would call why l was visiting with your mom. She had a smile that light of the room. Now you both are smiling with your heavenly Father. Love and Blessings too the family.

  15. CandleImageMy dear husband: I miss you much ! No words can expess the honor it was to be your wife !
