ARLINGTON -- Steven Eugene "Steve" Osgood, 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in Arlington. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, 6102 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to The Village at Pleasant Ridge, or Mission Funds at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ. Steve was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Los Angeles, Calif., to LaRue Elton Osgood and Doris Mae Martin Osgood. Raised in Arlington, Steve graduated from Arlington High School in 1963. He retired as a master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in October 1983. Steve was preceded in death by his father, LaRue Elton Osgood. Survivors: Beloved wife of 41 years, Gyrene Fuller Osgood; son, Bruce Elton Osgood; daughter, Tylene Michelle Osgood Galinet and husband, Bruce; stepson, Paul Allen Fuller and wife, Amy; mother, Doris Mae Martin Osgood; sisters, Deborah Ann Osgood Skinner and husband, John, and Teresa Lynn Radwan; grandchildren, Alexandra, Jake, Reed, Georgie, Parker, Baily and Decker; great-grandson, Jaxson; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
