Sherry Dayne West, 80, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Saturday, November 28, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Sherry was born on September 26, 1940 in Houston, Texas to Sam Houston “Cooter” Levassar and Bennie Novaline Thurman Levassar. She worked as a supervisor for FEMA. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Sam Levassar. Survivors: Husband of 35 years, Ed West; sons, John Lawson Jr. and wife, Jan, Brian Lawson, Russell Lawson and Bryan West and wife, Debi; sister, Betty Landry and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Shana Bennefeld, Racheal Lawson, Bre Lawson, Samantha Lawson, Aaron Lawson, Travis West, Paige West and Bryanna West; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Isabella, Madeline, Dean, Clayton, Kaleigh, Ava and Riley.
