ARLINGTON -- Sandra “Sandy” Marie McCarty, 61, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, Ft. Worth. Visitation: 4pm - 6pm on Sunday at Wade Funeral Home, Arlington. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please forward all donations to the COPD Foundation at www.COPDfoundation.com. It will make Sandy smile knowing you are helping others. Sandy was born June 28th, 1953 to Bruno and Dorothy (Doskocil) Kaulfus in Ft. Worth, Texas. She grew up in Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1975. She taught 5th grade for several years then became an active part of McCarty & Associates where she contributed to their success over the last 30 years while raising two daughters in a close knit family. She will be remembered for her strong devotion to her two girls, husband, family and friends. Sandy had an embracing smile, a feisty determination and a fun loving personality that was open to all. She loved to garden, spend time with her girls and grand kids, surprise people with things that made them happy and consistently worked “behind the scenes” to make good things happen for others. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruno Kaulfus. Survivors: Her husband, Dennis McCarty; daughters, Cortney Davenport and Denay Moor; stepson, Dennis Dean McCarty; grandsons, Mark V and Max Davenport; mother, Dorothy Kaulfus; brother, Daniel Kaulfus; sister, Carolyn Williams and numerous other loving family members and friends.
