Sandra was born on November 30, 1950 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri to Roy George and Hazel Norrington Warren. She attended Ouachita Baptist University where she met Larry Glover, who became the love of Sandra’s life. They married on December 21, 1971 and remained happily married for 52 years.

Sandra later completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of North Texas. Sandra found great joy in her career as a teacher. She taught second grade with Fort Worth ISD for 22 years and continued working as a substitute teacher for several years after her retirement.

Beyond her professional life, Sandra was an avid reader. She also enjoyed baking, traveling and, in her later years, she added quilting to her list of hobbies. She had a generous heart and was known for using her hobbies as a way to give personalized gifts to her friends and family. She selflessly gave of her time as a volunteer in many areas. She especially treasured her time mentoring children with Kids Hope in Arlington, Texas.

During the early years of their marriage, Sandy and Larry were members of Gambrell Street Baptist church in Fort Worth. In 1992, the family moved to Arlington and joined Fielder Church, where they’ve been members for 31 years. Sandy found some of her dearest friends and relationships in these communities. She enjoyed participating in women’s Bible studies, as well as trips and activities with her church family.

Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Glover; her parents, Roy and Hazel Warren; sisters, Dorothy Campbell and Peggy Silvey; and brother, David Warren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Glover; son, Timothy Glover and his wife Stephanie; daughter, Rachel Underhill and her husband Jeremy; and grandchildren, Brennen and Colton Underhill.
