  1. Dearest Sandra,
I can’t believe you’re gone. It seems like only weeks ago you were asking me to bring you iced tea with lemon in it. You were supposed to live long enough to see Obama voted out of office, and long enough to accuse me of being a darn liberal one more time. How come I never could convince you I actually voted Republican a few times?! Big Sis, they say sisters are our true best friends, accepting the good with the bad, offering words of comfort in our darkest moments, laughing with us in happier times, forgiving us for all our faults. Whoever said this about sisters was absolutely correct. You loved me unconditionally , and I could not have gotten through the dark days of my divorce without you. You talked to me for hours offering insight and encouragement that made me feel stronger and confident I could face the future again. Sandra, I hope in those final days you heard me telling you how much I loved you. I hope you heard Dennis tell you thank you for telling me he was the one. I hope you heard me tell you it was okay to leave us now because your shining love lives on in all of us. I hope you’re dancing with the love of your life while Mom and all His angels clap in everlasting joy!
    Love you always and forever,

  2. Esther that was a very nice letter to your sister. God be with you and the family during this tough time. One thing I saw in all the pictures you have posted of Sandra was her smile. She had a great smile. Take care. Helen

  3. Esther and Family:

So sorry for the loss of your sister. May The Lord wrap his arms around you with his peace and Love in the days , weeks months ahead. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
