ARLINGTON -- Ruby Johnson Haney, 85, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Arlington.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 1200 S Collins St, Arlington. Interment: Private family burial in Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Ruby was born April 14, 1929 in Greenville, Mississippi to Edith Eloise Barton and Lemmie Latimore Johnson.
She was a longtime Arlington resident, where she was an active member of First Presbyterian Church for 56 years.
Ruby enjoyed golf and bridge.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Charles Speck; and several siblings.
Survivors: Husband, Richard Kenneth Haney; daughters, Rebecca Speck and Tricia Hunsucker and husband, Bob; brother, Jack Johnson; grandchildren, Breck and Heath Hunsucker.

Richard, Becky, and Tricia-so very sad to learn of Ruby’s passing. She was always so kind, thoughtful, compassionate and always with a sparkle of merriment and mischief in her beautiful eyes. Ron and I will be in prayer for you all and specifically that you will have great peace knowing she is with God and that you will be reunited with her in His time.

We shall always remember Ruby as a gracious, beautiful & caring lady! We have enjoyed living in the same neighborhood with Ruby, Richard and Becky for several years.
Ruby always had a positive attitude and such a lovely smile.
