ARLINGTON -- Roger Blake Ford, 48, joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, 210 W. Park Row Drive, Arlington, with Pastor Russell Hildebrandt and Pastor Kevin Hintze officiating. Interment: Perrin Memorial Gardens, Jack County. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Roger was born Dec. 3, 1963, in Dallas, to A.D. Ford and Patsy Ann Payne Ford. He was raised in Arlington and was a graduate of Sam Houston High School. Roger graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in finance. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golf and fishing.
Survivors: Wife of 25 years, Rhonda Ford; daughters, Sharese Dickerson and husband, Jonathan, and Carlie Ford; father, A.D. Ford and wife, Dorothy; sisters, Becky Rooks and Laurie DeLeon and husband, Steve; and numerous nieces and nephews.
