Robert Theodore DeVoe

ARLINGTON - Robert T. DeVoe, 92, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018. Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at Wade Family Funeral Home, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Bob was born in Lodi, Ohio. He served as a pilot in the military for 21 years during 3 wars. A couple of the most memorable experiences were flying the Berlin Airlift and flying wounded soldiers back to the US from Korea. After military retirement he worked for Southwest Airlines for 17 years. He was a member of the Air Force Assoc., Order of Deadalians, Rolling Hills CC. Bob's main hobbies were golfing, fishing, traveling and gardening. He was preceded in death by wife, Gretchen. He is survived by his children, Robert (Rachel) DeVoe and Terry (Janice) DeVoe; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233
