Robert John "Bob" Finn, 75, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Arlington.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, November 4, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, at the funeral home.
Bob was born on December 23, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to John Edward Finn and Virginia Blake Finn. He was a proud Navy veteran. Bob was a Lieutenant for the Arlington Police Department and served his community for 17 years.
Bob was an active member of the Dallas RC Boat Club. He was a great machinist and built engines for RC Boats for people all around the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Finn.
Survivors: Wife, Sharon Finn; stepdaughter, Susie Thompson; grandson, Chance Thompson; many dear friends; and 2 precious dogs, Deedee and Butch.

My condolences to Bob’s family on his passing. I had the opportunity of working with him at Arlington PD and he’ll always be part and parcel of my memories there. Rest in peace, LT.
I would like to extend my condolences to the LT’s family and close friends. I worked with him at APD and have some fond memories of our time together. He led with distinction and good intent.
